Los Colores

The colors words can be nouns or adjectives. For example;

(as a noun)
"El negro es bonito."  This means the black one is beautiful"

(as an adjective)
"El teléfono negro es bonito"  This means the black phone is beautiful"

When colors are used as adjectives, they may be feminine or masculine, and singular or plural. When the name of the color ends in the letter "O" you are able to make it feminine by changing the "O" to the letter "A".

To make a color plural we add the letter "S" to the end.
